Dolce, a twelve-year old girl,
contacted polio when she was very young. While she is still
young, there is some hope to correct her condition. However,
she needs to be brought to New York city where Christian
doctors will examine her and provide any medical needs
gratis. Compassion Alliance has taken responsibility for
providing for her transportation from Honduras to the United
States and her return. Dolce hopes to someday be the
principal of the Christian school in El Castaño village when
she grows up. Would you like to help us get her to the
medical attention that she needs to see if her condition can
be changed?
Thank you for praying for this need. If you would like to
help, please contact our office.

The young boy, Alex, sat quietly
in a chair. He had never been examined by a doctor before.
There were many strange looking instruments, but the smile
on the man’s face helped him to sit still. His breathing has
become more labored in recent days and the doctor said he
could help. His parents didn’t have the money to buy the
medicine that was necessary, but these people who had come
from Jesus had plenty of medicine and they said it was free.
The help that the doctor gave had made his Mom cry for Alex
was all that she had. The gathering in the morning was so
exciting. Hundreds of children singing songs about Jesus
Christ. Everyone was given food and more than that: food to
take home. He thought this must be a little like heaven...
singing, talking about Jesus and food.
On June 1-4, sixty-two workers, doctors, dentists, nurses
and ministers shared the compassion of Jesus with 3,000
children and adults in the San Pedro Sula area of Honduras.
Full Gospel New York Church, along with Compassion Alliance,
has targeted the area for a special food distribution. Luke
World Mission is presently building a clinic at the school
site to help the community. The plan is to open a dental
college in El Castaño village to monitor the health care of
thousands of the children at the school.
The message of the Gospel was presented by a children’s
human video team from the school. Compassion Alliance had
the joy of sharing the Good News in the chapel services. In
addition, Compassion Alliance shipped two containers of food
and all the medications for the outreach. Scores of people
registered their desire to follow Jesus and become part of
local churches.
Compassion Alliance also sponsored a team to help guide the
national builders in the construction of the clinic. A
15,000 square foot facility will house a dental college,
medical facilities and rooms for the doctors, dentists and
nurses to stay in when they regularly visit the site.
Compassion Alliance is shipping medical and dental equipment
to the clinic to help in the health care of the local
people.
Jesus said the poor do not need to go away. We, His people,
are to care for them no matter where they are. In alliance
with Full Gospel New York Church and Luke World Mission,
Compassion Alliance has established a beachhead for the
Kingdom in this remote place. The work has just begun.
Reverend Nam Soo Kim and Bob Houlihan have a dream for
Honduras: to educate thousands of young people and lift them
out of the cycle of poverty. Education is one of the most
effective ways to help the poor achieve a new level of self
reliance. With Bible training, medical schooling and
vocational skills programs, they believe there is hope for
many of the young people in Honduras.
A second medical clinic was dedicated in the village of
Urako. Hundreds of children and adults received a medical
exam and records were established on each child in the
school to help them become strong and healthy. This village
is so remote that electrical power can be interrupted for
three or four days at a time. In order to keep the school,
the chapel service and clinic operational, a
gasoline-powered generator is desperately needed.

Alliance at (417) 725-8761.
